CAPTAIN ...
WIN A CRUISE!

urrently the staff at Fun Time Cruisers digital magazine consists
of four family members who are all very experienced cruisers. In
fact three of them have already achieved Diamond status with
arnival which means they each have sailed more than 200 days on
Carnival ships. I’m the straggler in the group … at the end of this cruise
on the Breeze I’ll only be up to a measly 158 days. But I’m working hard
to catch up!
One of the perks that goes along with
Diamond status is getting to spend some
time face-to-face with the Captain. The type
of meeting and the location typically depend
on how many Diamond status passengers
are on the ship. If there are just one or two,
you might actually get to have coffee with
the Captain on the bridge.
If there are a half a dozen or so it’s more likely going to be something
like a cocktail party in one of the smaller lounges on the ship. Since
that was the case for this cruise the get-together took plac
e inthe Liquid Nightclub disco. Even though I’ve not yet reache
dDiamond status, I was able to attend because I’m married t
o
