THE “SECRET”
SERENITY DECK
J
ust like most folks who frequently cruise on Carnival, all of us at
Fun Time Cruisers digital magazine would like to make use of the
Adult Serenity Area that’s offered on the Breeze and many of their
other ships. I say “would like to make use of” because also like most
frequent Carnival cruisers, we rare-
ly get a chance to do so.
That’s because other passengers
often go there early in the morning
and “reserve” spaces by placing
towels, books and other personal
items on lounge chairs, caban-
as and hammocks. Carnival has
“regulations” against this practice,
but they are rarely enforced.
So if you’re not prepared to do that, then the odds are good you’re not
going to find a place. One exception … sometimes … is if you stay on
board during a port day when a majority of the passengers are off the
ship.
After we returned from this cruise on the Breeze we posted some
questions about the Serenity Area on our Facebook page. We asked
people to let us know whether they had ever used the Sere
nityArea, and to tell us what they mostly liked and disliked abo
ut it.
