Of courseoneof themain
attractions is the famousbobsled
ride. Theprice for this attraction is
not included in theexcursionwewereon. However, Carnival doesoffer
another excursion that includes thebobsled ride, but obviously for a
higher price.
Here’s anexcerpt fromadescriptionof that excursion: “Flydown
themountain through the lush tropical forest ona speciallybuilt
JamaicaBobsled; the ride features agravity-drivenplungeof 3,280
feetwith twists and turns as youmakeyourway through the tropical
forest! Control the speedof your descentwithan in-sledhandbrake,
allowing for either a leisurely rideor apulsequickeningdive to the
bottomof themountain. Stop, thenyouand thebobsledare slowly
raisedback to the topof themountainonanelevated tramway.”
Althoughwedidn’t ride the
bobsled, fromwhatwe could
tell everyoneelsewhodidwas
havingagreat time. There’s also
a zip-lineattractionavailable
butwe reallydidn’t check that
